Requirements

Minimum age: 18.
Fluent in English; second language a plus.
Respect for the service and sacrifices of currently serving military and veterans.
Adherence to the requirements of the Armor Museum's
Operations Manual regarding public presentation, personal appearance, safety, rules of conduct, following the museum’s chain of command, etc.
Ability and desire to engage the public with a courteous and respectful demeanor.
Working knowledge of history, with an emphasis on WWII and armor.
Ability to participate in various aspects of museum activities; i.e., administration, motor pool mechanic, docent, facilities maintenance, event preparation, etc.
Previous experience as a docent encouraged.
Flexibility to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours/month, or 200 hours annually.
