- Minimum age: 18.
- Fluent in English; second language a plus.
- Respect for the service and sacrifices of currently serving military and veterans.
- Adherence to the requirements of the Armor Museum's
- Operations Manual regarding public presentation, personal appearance, safety, rules of conduct, following the museum’s chain of command, etc.
- Ability and desire to engage the public with a courteous and respectful demeanor.
- Working knowledge of history, with an emphasis on WWII and armor.
- Ability to participate in various aspects of museum activities; i.e., administration, motor pool mechanic, docent, facilities maintenance, event preparation, etc.
- Previous experience as a docent encouraged.
- Flexibility to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours/month, or 200 hours annually.
